November 16, 2008 It has been over five months since treatment with ketamine infusions began. The patient did well after last ketamine infusion three months ago. Unfortunately, she re-injured her right lower extremity resulting in exacerbation of her generalized CRPS. The graph below illustrates following the administration of escalating doses of IV ketamine over a 3.5 hour period, there was improvement of pain thresholds. This was accomplished as an outpatient. The following 8-minute video shows that the patient had significant functional improvements the following day.
