August 8, 2008 Ten Weeks Post Treatment
Ms. Kristina Chandroo did well following the 3-day / 4-ketamine treatment with ketamine. Then she developed a reoccurrence of pain in the right lower extremity. In the pre-treatment video (below) she discusses what might have contributed to the exacerbation of pain. The patient elected to undergo four separate ketamine infusions at four hours each on an outpatient basis. The graphs below illustrate that following the administration of escalating doses of IV ketamine there was normalization of pain thresholds in the right lower extremity. The post-treatment video shows the patient walking after the treatment:
