On May 8, 2007, ketamine coma patients Ana Sofia Gutierrez and Shannon Stocker MD joined with

"The Monterrey Team", colleagues, friends and the

Foundation to honor Fernando Cantu, MD

At 18, Ana Gutierrez had suffered for years with intractable CRPS in Mexico. Ana had been through PT, OT, PsychTherapy, trigger point injections, sympathetic nerve blocks. Nothing worked!

In 2007, Ana was the first patient to undergo the ketamine coma procedure. Her success led to the approval of the study by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) for San José Hospital and the Technological of Monterrey School of Medicine in Monterrey, México.

After the ketamine coma, Ana said:

"Now, I can do everything a girl my age normally does."

Ana's new lease on life is documented in a 10-minute video:

Shannon Stocker MD also had intractable CRPS. She tried everything for seven years. Over thirty physicians told her it was in her head until the ulcers developed in the arm with CRPS. She finally went to Mayo for formal testing (thermography, QSART, nerve conduction study, etc.). She was seen by several physicians who agreed on the diagnosis of CRPS. Shortly after that, she underwent a ketamine coma in Mexico.

According to her husband (Greg), Dr. Stocker was "reborn" following the ketamine coma procedure. She has since given birth to two beautiful girls.

Dr. Stock's journey with CRPS is documented in a series of three videos:
