KETAMINE COMA

PART II

CLINICAL OUTCOME

Jessica's experience reveals a lot from a scientific standpoint. She underwent two 5-day coma procedures with ketamine that improved her CRPS symptoms. Her second ketamine coma produced the long-waited "miracle".

For reasons unrelated to her CRPS, she underwent a 7-day coma procedure with propofol without any benefit for her CRPS symptoms.

These observations suggest that the benefits in treating CRPS with ketamine are not related simply to a chemical-induced coma. The benefits are related to the unique chemical properties of ketamine.

The journey that was expected to be a few months of treatment ended up being a 2.5 year roller coaster filled with many twists and turns, including a cardiac arrest.

Jessica and her mother were finally able to return home from Mexico!
