PAIN THRESHOLDS HELP TO DETERMINE THE OPTIMAL DURATION OF KETAMINE TREATMENT
MAY 7, 2010
The following 20-minute video illustrates how the measurement of pain thresholds helps to determine the optimal duration of ketamine treatment necessary to obtain the best outcome in patients with CRPS
The patient tolerated up to 300mg per hour of ketamine with stable vital signs. The patient had no nausea or vomiting with prescribed Zofran and no adverse hallucinations.
The patient showed improvement in pain thresholds associated with an improvement in function.
