Lindsay's Update

Dear Dr. Kirkpatrick
Hi! Greetings from Mexico! I emerged from ketamine coma less than two weeks ago.
It has been an excitement filled day!
|
I shaved my legs today for the first time in many, many years. It felt SO GOOD!
I also sat OUT OF BED for one hour today. I had sat in a chair for a while and threw 32 balls at the wall. IT FELT SO GOOD TOO THROW AGAIN! I used to play center field and could throw pretty hard, but had been literally years since I had thrown a ball!
We have had a wonderful experience here and the people here are very helpful and always make themselves available for any needed interpretation or otherwise.
Dr. Cantu is awesome! He has been a WONDERFUL SUPPORT and done anything he can to help AT ANY TIME! He is an answer to our prayers!
This is such an amazing treatment and I can't believe the new feelings my body is having and experiencing with every passing moment. I look forward to speaking to you in the future. | See you soon and thank you for all your work on this nasty disease! The ketamine coma is an amazing treatment and hope I can and will help many others like myself in the near future!
OUT OF BED FOR THE FIRST TIME IN YEARS
FINALLY SHOES ON MY FEET!!! .....And I was able to stand. ..... And I sipped lemonade and it actually tasted good .
