Patricia Barry RN
Six months after the ketamine coma procedure the patient made significant improvement in pain and function. In addition, she is no longer dependent on high doses of narcotics or other pain medication. The videos below document her improvements. Side effects from the ketamine coma are discussed as well as the challenges in determining the efficacy of the procedure. The still photos demonstrate the changes in facial appearance six months after the ketamine coma procedure. In evaluating the patient's pain thresholds it is important to note that the patient's primary site of pain is the left buttock region and coccyx. |
